i dropped my iphone into the swimming pool?

Not really, the only thing would be to go to the store if you bought the guarantee for like a year or so and they would give you a new one. Or if you HAD to you could always make up a story about how it wasn't your fault, like the phone just wont turn on somehow and they normally give you one.
 
i recently bought a shiny new apple iphone but o to my dismay i dropped it into the swimming pool and now it wont turn on is there anything i could do?
 
Try taking the battery out - and drying it out LIGHTLY with a blow dryer. If after it's all dryed - and I would wait at least a full day - it still doesn't work - then it's a goner and time to let it go to IPhone Heaven.
