will I get any money back? A few weeks ago I officially withdrew from my university on the last day of the add/drop period. After looking online at the college website I see that when a student withdraws from all their classes the students financial aid award is adjusted, however an adjusted amount of financial aid is more than I owe the school in tuition... am I supposed to get the difference back?
...that the college would be able to keep all the money seems seems like a conflict of interest to me considering its taking awhile for the college is taking a long time to settle the issue.
As part of the withdrawal process I had to speak with the FA office at my school and the person I spoke with there said to give her my check and sign VOID on it. I never cashed the check.
