Keep in mind I don't have even 25 more dollars to spend.
I was driving home in the rain on the free way. my wipers on fast speed started slowing down. when i turned the head light son the light on radio went dim and when. Inside a very short time the wipers started swiping slower and slow. The car made no noise and it ran fine it is just lights and radio that gave me trouble people said is the the alternator. some said battery. A friend of mine knows a little bit about cars said he thought at first was the batter than later thought it was the alternator. He found a used one and put it on the car. Had jump the car but it started and it ran. It didn’t just run it so quiet that we thought it had stop. I drove the car to the gas station and turned it off to put gas in it. Then it would not start. It just made a clicking noise. Could it be that the cars also needs a new battery or is there something else wrong. Just 2 months ago after accident a mechanic friend said everything looked good. Do you have any advice before I go out an buy a new battery? Should I try to charge up battery again. I am at your mercy
