So I downloaded this crazy thing and I would normally just do a system restore, but that wants to open in Windows Media Player as well as all of my web browsers. The only reason I'm online is because I haven't closed Google Chrome yet.

So from what I can tell, now my computer thinks all of the programs and some of the folders on my computer are WMA files.

On top of that my mouse buttons are reversed; I looked up a way to fix it, but I can't open any of the windows I need to because of the WMA problem.

Please help as fast as possible, I'm afraid I'll close Google Chrome and not be able to get back online again.

Also I CANNOT run a system restore or most other programs! I've tried downloading a few things but my computer calls it a WMA file and tries to open it with Windows Media Player!

two words: "system restore".

roll windows back to just before you installed that software. if you installed that software you downloaded, which I'm guessing you did.

go to:

Start Menu > Control Panel > double-click on System

In the system properties box click the 'System Restore" tab.

You should be able to restore your computer to the time before you installed that program.
