Just looking for some ideas and thoughts.
I just got my 3 year diploma in business marketing.
I really don't feel like working at a desk and computer for 8 hours a day. I also don't feel like working in a warehouse or bar job making crappy money and working bad hours. Pretty much I just don't want to work as a slave for anyone...
I supported myself through college by working as a bouncer on weekends and selling a specific type of tree. I did well for myself and have around 8000 saved. I could get an additional 2k if needed...
What should I do? My family is pressuring me to get an office job but I just cant see myself getting up at 7am 5 days a week and starring at a computer and being all cute with my co workers.
I want to start my own business. I am 21, in very good shape and great with people. I was thinking about starting up my own marketing firm. I would go around to resturaunts, bars and clubs and offer to do marketing for them such as make the material and launch it through radio stations or public transit ect.
I want to do something that is unique, not something like a lawn cutting business. I also don't want to be arsed with too many licensing fees aside from the business license and tax forms ect.
I obviously don't have that much money to work with so low start up cost is a must.
Am I just being stupid? Should I just keep working at the bar or should I suck it up and get a real job with my diploma I now have?
