I dont want to tell mum that ive had sex.?

Im 17, and recently ive been having sex. but now its gotten to the point that ive gotten a common urinary track infection and need to go to the doctors for anitbiotics. Mum doesnt know that im having sex, but i think i need to tell her in order to get me to the doctors. im really nervous, and i dont know how great shes going to take it. will she be angry? im 18 in a few months, but is it time to tell her?
