Last night I was at a party with my friends and we had quite a lot of alcohol. When most people were gone my best guy friend and I were chilling out in the bath tub (not naked we were just sat there talking). I had my arms round him in a hug. The hug soon turned into a kiss as our faces got near which led to locking the bathroom door and tearing each others clothes off and so on. We didn't have sex but we did other things sexual. We we fully sober at this point so it isn't like we have a pathetic excuse. We carried on with our passionate experience for quite some time without a care who we would affect. But now I talk to him he refers to himself as a 't**t' etc. and says he never wants it to happen again while also being in a bad mood with me.We have kissed before but nothing this serious. The problem is that he has a girlfriend and says he loves her, but their relationship is slightly rocky at the moment. He is now extremely confused with his feelings and also says he doesn't know if we're still friends after what happened. The other problem is that I love him too and it affects my feelings too. As it hurts after he has done this with me then tells his girlfriend he loves her.
What is going through his mind right now? Is there a chance he has feelings for me? I don't want to lose my best friend
