3 or 4 days after i have ovulated..or after my period...i know the egg lives for 24 to 48 hours..im talking about after the egg has disintegrated

About 2 weeks before you start ovulating.
on (kinda messy...) or directly after your period. Ovulation is hard to pinpoint -- keep in mind that sperm can live inside you for a few days.
At the very least, use a condom and you won't have to worry so much! Pregnancy isn't the only thing you can "catch" by having sex...

You are most fertile after your period ends. So you should ovulate around 14 days after your period starts. (based on a 28 day cycle) Wear protection and be careful, my friend used the rhythm method and it worked for a while. but she got pregnant eventually///its nice but never guaranteed...so after you have ovulated you have to wait the 24 hours plus , so way after that is ok
