When did you really start to feel pregnant?
(i do have to admit in the 1st trimester i had morning sickness)
this is my 1st pregnancy

Well...you haven't had a hard pregnancy. Try to imagine being in someone else's shoes. Not everyone has easy pregnancies like you.

There is no set time when people "start to feel pregnant".

Some people have worse pregnancies than others, but I do think that you're probably doing things, such as exercising, that are helping you to feel better. Congratulations!

Well, I'm lucky like you and I have had zero complications. I never even got morning sickness in the first trimester. I felt really tired at the beginning, but I just slept more and it was cool.

However, might I remind you that you still have 10 more weeks?

I felt great until I was 34 weeks, and suddenly that great energy burst that you are experiencing right now turns into achiness because your growing belly is getting pretty big putting pressure all over and making your feel worn out and introverted. The babies kicks then become so strong that they will wake you up in the middle of the night too.

Then, imagine that your doctor tells you that because your normal active, happy life-style is causing contractions when you move that you have to sit your butt on the couch and stop doing everything you would normally do. That can make a person kind of depressed! Then, you get contractions for five days in a row that are go from 20 minutes to 2 minutes apart, and don't ever go away...but you aren't in labor! Somehow, this is just "pre-labor" and doesn't mean anything!

So yes, I understand your frustration with women who complain...but I consider myself to have had a very lucky pregnancy without any complications. Sure, I couldn't be active for 4 weeks, and I've had contractions that show up on the machine for five days straight...but I still have probably had it better than some!

Two of my friends have had very difficult pregnancies. One threw up for 4 months straight and has thyroid problems so she gained 80 pounds, because she can't take her medicine when pregnant. And the other has been to the hospital multiple times for pre-term labor and she is just now 28 weeks. Not everyone is so lucky as us.

Yes I've had a fabulous pregnancy. For the most part I can't complain.
But I've been very uncomfortable for the last 8 weeks. There's something about having false labor everyday for the last 8 weeks that makes me a little cranky from time to time. You know the feeling of having your period? That really crampy, irritable feeling? Now try having that for 2 months. It really hurts some days.
I'm having a big baby because I grow big babies. My last baby was 10.3. Now that was a pregnancy from hell. My last pregnancy was a nightmare.

Be very thankful that you are having such a great pregnancy. My 1st 2 were a lot harder then this one.

Not every woman is as lucky as us. This 1 may be awesome for you but the next 1 could be very different as every pregnancy is different.

Just remember this one when your feeling absolutley like hell in your next one.

Alot of times women feel awful during pregnancy. I know my pregnancy has been really hard. I have preeclampsia and have had to stay in the hospital and do those annoying 24 urine tests. Everyone's pregnancy is different . You're lucky yours is easy

symptoms vary from female to female i have it really bad im a high risk pregancy i stay having cramps and my feet already swolls up and im only 11 weeks along imagine my pain at 30 weeks?? if i make it that far because my last child came in at 25 weeks 1lb 3oz very premature but she is now going on 5yrs old and she is great now im on baby number 3 i wish i had it like you consider yourself very lucky.

Very lucky! My mom says her pregnancies were the same way! Makes me angry lol...cause I wish I could be like that!

I try not to complain, but I'm only 21 weeks and have already been to the ER 3 times for dehydration and infection. I can't sleep much because I have scoliosis and that plus my growing baby has already caused me to have horrible back pain that I'm not allowed to take anything but Tylenol for. Other than the back pain now I am fine. But a few months ago I was unable to keep any food or water down and had a UTI and a yeast infection that took 2 months to get rid of...so I was cranky then! I'm in maternity full time already and have been for about 2 months now. But that doesn't really bug me cause maternity clothes are comfy!

I have no idea what "feeling pregnant" is...but if it means you don't feel like you did pre-preg then I've felt pregnant since I was 3 or 4 weeks cause that's when my m/s began.

Hope you continue to have an easy pregnancy. Some people are just lucky I guess!
