I dont know whats wrong with me

I have been having this clogged feeling in my thyroid area/throat.
It makes me feel nauseated like I am going to vomit, literally everytime I:
  • Eat
  • Chewing/taking bites
  • Swallow-with or without food/liquids
  • ext

It feels like everything is just building up in my throat and that there is tons of pressure and it will explode.

And like I said, even swallowing saliva makes me feel like throwing up. When swallowing, everything goes down a lot slower than it used to

I have never felt this before.

Symptoms again are:
  • nauseous 24/7
  • hard time swallowing
  • feels like a "clogged throat"
  • feeling like i will throw up if i do ANYTHING

it is very hard to explain

I have type 1 diabetes and hypothyoridisim (idk if that will matter or not) but my psychologsit says that i have a great deal of anxiety and depression. so i was thinking it might be an acid reflex in the throat or something..

its not the flu because i have had my flu shot a week ago and when i have the flu i never feel clogged up in my lungs or whatever and swallowing never adds to the pressure of my throat..

any ideas of what it is?

Has any doctor ever felt your neck to see if your thyroid gland is enlarged, which would lead to swallowing difficulty? Under-treated hypothyroidism can cause that. And you might be surprised at how often hypoT is under-treated.

An ultrasound of the neck will also reveal thyroid enlargement (also known as "goiter".) Don't allow any of your doctors to dismiss this as anxiety without doing the necessary exams.

Yes, I have had hypothyroidism ever since I was 4 years old so I have been taking levothyroxin 150 my whole life, lol.

and the doc said that my thyroid is severely enlarged so its like thats not a surprise lol

Could you be hyper from too high of a dosage of Levothyroxin? I have no thyroid whatsoever due to Grave's Disease, and I only take 115. I know everyone's levels are different, but that seems like quite a bit of a difference. Before I was diagnosed, I had a goiter and I had a hard time breathing if I tilted my head back even just a little. My hairdresser had a hard time washing my hair, I had to keep putting my head up so I could breath. Being hyper can make you feel high anxiety as well as depression.

If you haven't already get your tsh checked and if you are close to the higher end of normal maybe you should consider a med adjustment.

Good luck and I hope you get to the bottom of it.
