Hi Healthboards,

I kind of have a weird question. These past couple of days or really ever since Monday, I have been sleeping a lot! I've been sleeping about 8-9 hours every night plus 1 or 2 naps during the day. I don't know why I am so tired, and I feel like I can't get anything done? What would make me do this? I have been under some stress lately with money issues with my family, and I am anemic if that helps any, but I eat enough I would say. All I do is just watch what I eat. Could this be from stress or what??

Also, I will say it is that time of the month, but I've never felt like this before so I don't think it has anything to do with that. I don't know if I'm being a hypochondriac, but I've always had pelvic problems & what made me start sleeping so much was when I started having them again the other day. Sometimes they get so bad I don't even want to move, and I sleep to get away from the pain per say. I've had trouble with cysts in the past & I've been on birth control ever since I had one rupture last year in May. I still have the same pains, sometimes when I'm exercising, having sex or after and I just don't know what to think. My mom did have endometriosis, and I've always thought that could be the case & I was suppose to have a laprascopic surgery done but I didn't because of my moms back surgery she had a month ago. Now I just read about ovarian cancer & every symptom is what I have..is this weird?? Please help..I don't know what to think anymore?..

please see a Doctor and have him/her run tests..try adding exercise that will surely give you energy..do anytype as a routine, and stay with it..you will feel much better after a few weeks..won't be so tired, because it gives you energy..good luck

Meanev7: Yes, get checked and also make sure they check your thyroid and your adrenal glands. Hypothyroidism can make you sleepy and if you're under alot of stress your adrenals could be getting taxed. It's summer too, and the heat will wear you out.
8-9 hours of sleep a night is good. I wish I got that much.

If you've got endometriois, have your hormones checked and see if you're estrogen dominant. If so, then get on some progesterone to get the estrogen levels down.

We live in a toxic world these days and xenohormones, xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens are making things worse for us. Research them. Stop eating soy if you can. It adds to the estrogen in your body. It's too bad it's being put in all of our food these days. Good luck.

i would recommend you to consult the best doctor and start the proper medication...after doing all the tests you will know what actuall the problem is but make sure that your problem is solved as soon as possible
