I don't know what to do...I might go to jail?

ok so it was fourth of july yesterday. I decided to throw these huge major illegal fireworks in my neighbor's backyard. They all got set off and the police came. The told my neighbor that they have to face these HUGE charges or go to jail for five nights. Now my neighbors are kinda poor so what do I do? Do I confess? My neighbors are good friends of mine.
 
There are a lot of factor's in a case like this .

Where you are , what State . , How old are you , Have you been in trouble with the police before .

I doubt you will be going to jail , you might get a warning but that is about it
 
Since you have access to a computer, go online and find your area's records on how they prosecute these types of charges...I promise that if they where going to charge someone they would have done so at that time....My advice give the situation some time,,,,if your friends are denying the charges to the police and they still charge them I would cross that bridge when it comes but dont just take anyones word...you wait till you see someone in the jail before you get ready to confess to anything.....Hell maybe some local kids were just running around the area thowing random fireworks??? Maybe you saw it and can give the police a description??? Good luck....
 
Anytime you can help the poor you do it...WTF why will people not understand this basic thought.
 
You need to own up to what you did. You won't go to jail, you'll simply get warned.

Also, if you got the badge number from the police officer saying that crap, I would defiantly call his boss, and report him. Sounds like that guy has a god complex, and thinks he is also a judge.
