I've always had a knack for writing, but only did it because I had to, such as essays for class etc, etc. However, I never attempted to write poetry, nor was I a fan of it, I never could understand it, because I couldn't relate to the people that wrote it and what they were feeling.
One day I was sitting in class, bored, the teacher was rambling about something we already knew and I just started writing and I gradually started writing more and more over time. I started out with love poems and soon after, started writing about everything I experienced or seen first-hand, from my point of view.
So my question is, what inspires me to write? I mean, I know I love writing poetry now, but my real question is, where does it come from?? Because I'm often surprised, when I actually finish and read it myself.
