Catherine stepped out of the car and smirked at Mike. She thought he looked pathetic trying to open the locked door, it was obvious he was still drunk from all the bottles of beer he drank. Her room was right by the terrace, she was tired and only wanted to sleep in warm bed. She sighed and walked up behind Alex. They looked down at Mike trying to open a window.
Catherine looked up at Alex, “Thanks for trying Alex,” she said smiling.
“It’s okay.” He nodded.
Catherine looked back at the house, she knew she was lucky to have everything a girl could ever want but she could never feel fully satisfied always topping her parties every time. Alex sat down on a stool by the table in the middle of the terrace. He hardly smoked but for some reason decided to puff one, he always thought smoking would wake keep him awake and alert. She laid on the table and rested her head on her folded arms. Catherine knew she was sexy but also thought he liked Jean and she couldn’t mess with a small fire.
