CAN'T GET VOICE IN YAHOO CHAT ROOMS AND CONFERENCES
If you have Windows Vista you will need to use the latest Yahoo Messenger 9.0.0.2162 which fixes the voice issue. Most likely also the just out 10 Beta. Although there are exceptions. Sorry, if you are using Windows Vista Home Basic many are not able to get voice, not sure why. But if you use Windows Vista Home Premium you should be good to go. Though please note that some people who use Norton Internet Security (not sure about the 2009 version, or Norton 360, though just the Anti-Virus seems to be ok), have not been able to get voice no matter what they did.
If none of this applies to you, it could because you need to get the latest high priority updates. Though you do not have to get IE8 yet if you want to stick to IE7. I have heard of people not getting Yahoo Messenger to work properly who are missing updates.
Of course you need speakers or a headset and have your system volume turned up.
