Snowball II was one of my favorite characters, so I was really sad and disturbed when she and the other cats died.
But I read that the dead cat joke is probably a parady from movies like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Madhouse.
Other than that, I thought the episode was really funny. My favorite lines were:
"Why was I born a dad" and
"Remeraber what my father alway said: 'If you can't build a robot, be a robot.'"

That was more of an inside joke for old school watchers like myself. Anyway i thought that the episode was very funny. It`s about time the Simpsons made fun of those robot fighting shows. Homer was hilarous through out the episode and he really showed that he would just about anything to not let Bart down.
