I need way more bookmarks than that. Even though I misunderstood what
you posted, putting a folder on the toolbar seemed like a good idea.
Like sf, I have planned to go back and look at some page, and then
forgot to save it before I rebooted.

Make everything folders, then put sub-folders in the folders. I have
about sixteen folders on my bookmarks toolbar, but each one has many
sub-folders. Overall, I have hundreds of bookmarks, all available from
my bookmarks toolbar. Still have room for a couple more folders.
Also, make folder names 3 letters max and use a smaller font. If I
could remove the stupid folder icons, I'd have even more room.

Want to know how many times I use my bookmarks folders? Zero. The
only bookmarks I ever reuse are those visible on my toolbar and those
at the top of my expanded bookmarks. I do like the search engine
thingy FF has though. When I find a new search engine I like, all I
need to do is add it to that list. Foodily was added ASAP, but I
don't use it as much as I use FN. Which reminds me - I need to add
Big Oven to that list.

I don't even bother with a bookmarks toolbar. I just click "bookmarks" in
the top menu. From there you can create all the subfolders you like, and go
directly to the organize function. Toolbars just take up useable display
space IMO.

Used it a couple of times recently. It's far from perfect, but nice. I
also like Recipe Puppy.

I don't believe I was the OP on that. I read about it here.
