I didn't save it

Did anyone save the site (posted last week) where you list ingredients
and it comes up with suggestions of what to make? I think the name of
the site had "refrigerator" in it. I had it on a FF tab to return to,
but FF had a problem yesterday and I had to start a new session, so I
lost it.

TIA

sf,

allrecipes.com has an ingredient search. You can search for meals
including and excluding ingredients.

I don't remember the link you speak of but in the meantime... ;)

Best,

Andy

sf,

BTW, did you go to the History menu in FF and "Show All History"? How far
back would depend on your history prefs.

Best,

And of course there's always dragging the URL to your personal toolbar
folder until you can figure out what to do with it (like filing it
permanently in your bookmarks). Why leave the website open in a tab
if you want to *save* it. Duh.

But I've learned that trying to teach Barbara new things is like
beating your head against the wall - totally not worth it for either
the wall or head.

Hmm...I don't know how to do this. I was just trying to see if I can
figure it out, but I am not getting it yet. Is there someway to get
to that folder? I must be looking right at it, and not seeing it...

Sadly for me, my history is cleared when I close the browser. And I
had to start a new session so all of that history was wiped out

You simply drag the blue 'f' to the left of the facebook URL in your
url bar to the row just beneath it. Done. A facebook bookmark on the
face of your Firefox (or Seamonkey) browser.

This assumes that you haven't mangled or deleted your personal
bookmark toolbar that comes with Firefox by default.

Is this the one you want?

http://www.foodily.com

It's a search engine. You put in the food and it shows you recipes on
different sites.

I have it up in the right hand corner in the drop-down with all the
search engines. I use FF

Spelling doesn't count. Cooking does.

For example. Just go to facebook and you'll see what I'm talking

The website doesn't matter. I was just using it as an example.

How are you able to add it to that search engine list? I can only add
pre-configured search engines to that list. I do not have a selection
to add foodily.com when I visit that site.

It's probably not there, but most of the stuff on my FireFox toolbar got
there because I put it there, so...

1. Select the BOOKMARKS menu
2. Select ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS
3. Click on Bookmarks Toolbar in the new window
4. Select the little "wheel" tool and choose "new folder"
5. Name the folder "personal toolbar folder" (or something shorter)

It's there!

Wheel Tool? WTF? (What To Find?)

Mine's under "Organize" -> Add Folder (Windows 7, Firefox 3.6.15)
I don't know what a Wheel Tool is.

All my bookmarks are right there under the URL toolbar bar. I don't
even file bookmarks under any other folder/menu. I do shorten the
names by editing the descriptions so I can fit about 20 bookmarks
across that toolbar.

says...

Don't you have some kind of "bookmark" tab on your browser toolbar?
When you visit a website you want to return to, click the bookmark tab
and when the option drops down, click "add this site to bookmarks".

The url of the website page will then be kept and you can find it by
clicking the bookmark tab and scanning the drop-down list.
