Obama suspends work on 33 drilling rigs in the Gulf. Gulf coast expected to shrivel and die of slow financial decline.

Wonderful. Someone crashes a bus? Ban buses.

Glad I thought ahead and bought my 80mpg motorcycle last year. Guess I'll get some cold weather riding gear this fall

A bus crash that caused this much damage? Yea I'd be in favor of banning buses in an event like that...

This is about people and their livelihood. It's killing jobs and a major part of the economy of the region.

I hope this also includes a ban on drilling the 2 relief wells to try to stop the flow.

Well, I guess this is a picture of Obama sucking dick, because without domestic off shore drilling, that is where the majority of the oil will be coming from ... there and from that fucked up, piece of shit country Mexico, who can't mind their own business and keeps putting their nose into ours, which ignoring their own draconian immigration laws.

Damn I hope Obama just fucking dies of a drug over dose or something. That boy really is a fucking clear and present danger to the United States people.

Thats okay, he got an extension on unemployment until november so their livelihood is the least of his concerns
...

Watch fuel prices skrocket too '08 levels...

last year there were 41,000+ deathsover 3 million injuries requiring hospitalizationpollution from automobiles increases chances for many types of cancerblahblahblahpoint: cars DO that much damage, only in smaller increments.

But all of this could have been avoided if regulators weren't corrupt. I think that's what needs to change.

You can't really compare the environmental damage caused by the oil spill to people dying in car accidents.

corruption among regulators did not cause the disaster, though it was certainly a contributing factor.

I think the workers for those rigs and those adversely affected can hit up BP for liquidated damages. I would certainly hope so-- though the legalese of the contracts may complicate things.

Something happened?

Something isn't happening?

Something could happen?

I need another emotion evoking tag line to help my agenda?

well if the rig that exploded was shut down 2 months ago we wouldn't have oil on pelicans today..

but whatever
