So there is this girl I know whom I'm madly in love with (For a teenager that means my hormones are off the charts) she is a swimmer and she is very smart and sophisticated.
I'm also smart (don't mean to brag) and sophisticated (I can't help myself lol I'm a great person) but no, were both in the same honors classes but I think our interests are entirely different: I take piano, she plays violen. I play tennis, she swims. I'm in the school newspaper and business club, she's in....idk lol I take Spanish, she takes French. She's Christian (not like super conservative though), I'm near-militant atheist conspiracist liberal. We' re from different middle schools and we have only had one conversation for abou five minutes and we weren't even alone. We were with another girl that I suspect likes me but the feeling isn't mutual.
I've noticed that the girl I like may have liked me perhaps a lot back in October but I didn't know her (we are freshman btw). I thought that once I noticed her that since it was a while she might not like me anymore but that last conversation we had two weeks ago gave me new hope because she appeared a little hesistent and factual when speaking but then got into a smile and possibly loosened up a bit. Also, before we started talking, I was talking to another girl, and when i approach them, the girl I like was standing by one of her friends, and she started laughing possibly giggling to that friend when I came over to talk to my friend. I don't know if it was because she likes me or if she was laughing at me because I walked over in a silly manner that i don't want to explain. But she ran over to our conversation momentarily.
Once in math class, our eyes locked for a split second and she just kinda gave me a warm but friendly smile, nothing flirting. I looked away slowly, making it look like I was staring out to space (I actually was lol). I think she might like me, but Ive seen her talking with other guys. Not as boyfriends but as good friends, and maybe she likes them. Idk, honestly I have no idea.
Give me some insight plz. I really want to make things work out with her and if I even have a chance. She's not the shy type necessarily but she isn't the obnoxious one either. Very calm smart and well mannered.
Prom is in a couple months, and I want to be with her by then.
