I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

I became aware of Disaster Movie because I saw trailers for it in the cinema when I was seeing other films. I have only gone to see films in the cinema in the last few years, and didn't go at all regularly before. I was not "convinced" that I had to see it; I just decided on the balance of probabiolities that I wanted to.

I was telling the truth when I said that I have never heard of Epic Movie and Date Movie, so if you don't believe me, then that's your problem not mine.

Inside Man - Plot holes that you could drive the galaxy class starship enterprise through. What a load of bull droppings. Seriously what was the point of this film? I wouldn't have minded him getting away with it, if it made some actual sense. I had to suspend my disbelief 100 too many times. I'm still irate about this film, all these years later and I saw it for free!
 
Exactly... I paid to see Date Movie because my friend wanted to and he desperately needed cheering up (that, and I'd offended him somewhat and felt bad). I was expecting it to be the worst film ever and I was right (he hated it too), but don't feel that I was robbed as I knew exactly what to expect. Other films are bigged up or are part of an awesome franchise and fail to entertain... that leaves a bitter taste that makes you hate the film more than any of the bad ones. That, and when everyone bums the living daylights out of a film after you've seen it, it can't half be frustrating if it did nothing for you.
 
Yes, I have to say I thought this film was incredibly over-rated.....

And Queenie wasnt portrayed particularly sympathetically IMO..... seemed like an Out of touch,antiquated, emotionally paralysed woman to me. Seemed to be more obsessed with her "image" than expressing emotion. Tony Blair came out of it smelling like roses...
 
It is all subjective, but theres a big difference between disliking a film and think it's the worst thing you've ever seen. IMO I Am Legend was crap, but it was by no means one of the worst films i've ever seen.
 
I left this movie after I felt the will to live draining from my soul. Also walked out from The Village. Dreadful movie with William Hurt
 
Well each to their own. I actually enjoyed half of those films:eek: My most recent one was Music & Lyrics. I usually reall like Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant films but that was RUBBISH.
 
It's a good job the humping dogs was all of about three seconRAB in a two and a half hour movie then wasnt it?

I got dragged to see Step Up 2 once, horrible horrible film, the only redeeming factor being the main girls very nice rack! ;)
 
That's a strange film for me. The first time i watched it i absolutely hated it, then i watched it again when it was on TV sometime and for some reason i liked it. I think you've got to be in the mood for a ridiculous sci-fi film to appreciate The Fifth Element.

Worst film's i've ever sat through/part sat through:

The Birdcage (i lasted 45 minutes. Absolute garbage)

Bicentennial Man (the scene where he learns to fart still makes me shudder)

A.I. Artificial Intelligence (I hate Jude Law at the best of times, but he managed to make an already bad film even worse! What were you thinking Spielberg/Kubrick!)

Underworld (not even Kate Beckinsale's leather suit could redeem it)

Wild At Heart (watched about an hour, then fast forwarded through the second half. Didn't miss anything)

Blood: The Last Vampire (atrocious excuse for a film. The effects, acting and storyline were all abysmal).
 
Yeah - Goldeneye was alright, and Tomorrow Never Dies was okay, but the last two were such bollocks - especially the invisible car in Die Another Day.



I'm like that with Jack Black, Adam Sandler and Woody Allen.
 
Just have been reminded of another - the last Fantastic Four movie - Return of the Silver Surfer?. My God. From about mid-way of the film, I wanted to leave the cinema but agreed to stay to see out of curiousity if there was improvement. Hell. No. Even the cinema was crap.

Quite honestly, if I had to choose to do naked cartwheels down my high road or watch this film again, I'd warm up the nether regions in preparations for my version of Lady Godiva.

Edited to add: College Road Trip. Not the worst as I guess it's aimed for people younger than me but it is the typical disney fest movie and then some, and I didn't pay to see it.
The actress Raven tries too hard at being the comedy actress, her brother character is too nerdy and the actor is appears to be wooden, and the whole film tries too hard at portraying the disney-esque- typical-fun-loving family-with-professional-parents-and-two-kiRAB-scenario. The best bit was just before the ending (no pun intended) esp. Donny Osmond's character, only time I actually laughed.
 
Speed 2: Cruise Control.

Couldn't leave but don't know how I managed to stop myself gnawing through my own wrists.

That would be an effective torture technique!
 
Which version of the film did you see? The theatrical version was a bit of a mess. The director's cut on DVD was slightly bretter but I heat that the special edition that came out a bit later still is actually quite good. Personally I quite enjoyed both versions I've seen.
