I thought Die Hard 3 was poor. 4 was OK. They needed to set around a location and not all over the city or country was the last one was about. I once read that Die Hard 3 was to be set in the subway, which would have been excellent as a concept, but alas that never happened.
AI lasted about an hour longer than it needed to. I hated it less when I watched it again. But at the time I was on the verge of saying "I demand a refund"!
When I first saw that film, I was like WTF!?!?! But after repeat viewings, I started to 'get it'. It's a fun, kitsch film that shouldn't be taken seriously. Just sit back and be bamboozled by it all.
The Queen...
made for the Yanks, we should have disowned this ridiculous piece of cr*p... i was almost speechless after watching this for all the wrong reasons, the only thing i can really say about it is that it was the most ridiculous film I have ever seen! (and ive seen some strange films..)
anyone else feel the same?
totally agree. for me, the brosnan films were complete and utter twaddle and some of the worst films ever, especially that last one. so thank god for casino royale.
They are two of the most underated sci - fi films ever !
Not to insult you, but if you rate them terrible I guess you did not have the intelligence span to sit through them as they were lacking violence, action, or romance I am guessing.
A.I was born originly of the movie god Stanley Kubrick and then made by Steven Stielberg.
Vanilla Sky was just easily one of the best Tom Cruise Movies ever made. It was better than that crap War Of The WorlRAB and Mission Impossible Trilogy.
Initially I thought DH3 was poor too, but on reflection, I think it's the second best in the franchise. DH obviously being the best, followed by DH3, DH2 then DH4.
I couldnt get how everyone thought this film was soooo "marvellous". Its basically about a school teacher in his 60's who likes to touch up boys 40 years younger than him, but everyone forgives him and thinks of him as a loveable old "codger"....... I thought to myself "have I missed something here?? How come people are so unphased by this guys abusive relationship with his pupils??"
