I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

"Cats And Dogs"

"Armageddon" - utter crap. Typical Michael Bay/Jerry Bruckheimer film - explosions, slow-motion explosions, and erm more explosions !

Now apologies for not reading through the other 27 pages but I'm going to heartily agree with the other people who said 'Lost In Translation'. I am, of course, assuming that someone else has suggested it, it being the borefest it is. Having heard others opinions, I think it's a bit of a marmite film - people either love it or hate it. I don't know anyone who thinks it's ok. (although I also don't know anyone who loved it either :)).

Brokeback Mountain is another one I thought I'd love, hearing so much stuff about it and loving ol' Jake, but I found it so dull, mainly because I thought there was absolutely no chemistry between the two main characters. Very disappointing.

ETA: A few years ago, my best friend and I made a deal in that we'd see two films in a row, with us each choosing a film we wanted to see. I chose U-571 (with the lovely Erik Palladino aka Dr Dave from ER). What did I get landed with? Battlefield bl00dy Earth.

Well, tbf, I didn't actually sit through it, I left half way through due to boredom, so suppose the worst one that I've sat through would be Paranormal Activity.

:D:D

Agreed. Napoleon Dynamite is utter crap. I sat through it and wanted to hang myself afterwarRAB.

other movies worth a mention

Son of the Mask(saw this late as it was the last showing and there were around 12 people seated, every single person got up and left before the end,i was the last.)
Epic Movie(too many of these movies, although i found the new 'superhero movie' rather entertaining)
Jarhead(soul destroying)
Guess who(I thought this movie was racist towarRAB white people.)

Dead Silence by the people who made saw- completely hilarious, we just fell about laughing as dolls went around murdering people.
Brilliantly awful.

OMG!!!!!!!

At last!! Another person who recognises the godawfulness of this pukey tack fest!!!:D:D

Reaaalllllyyy excruiciatingly naff and patronising:
"Gawwwwd Bless Americaaaaaaaa" type repulsive over emotionalism, tacky dialogue, rent an "A" lister, Bill Pullman calling his daughter "munchkin" every 5 secs. (Bleeeeeuuuughhhhhhh!)

Oh, and its other claim to fame... its scenes of the White House etc being blown up being used as w**k fodder for
Al-Quida terrorists!!!

The closest I have EVER come to walking out of a cinema. I frequently quote this as one of my most hatred films of all time... the friend I was with at the time, still ribs me even now, that I forced her to go along and sit through that sh*te!!!:D:D:D

Somebody just mentioned Gladiator. God, I forgot about that one. Truly awful film. The script I'm pretty sure was penned by the late Barbra Cartland. Personally, I put it in the same league as Titanic - schmaltzy trash. And the fact that the great Ridley Scott directed it too makes me weep even more.

Then it's your fault and not the movies. The movie was never going to be good light fun, so you shouldn't have gone in thinking that .

The only bonus to Year One is that, according to Bill Murray, it stank so bad it killed off the possible Ghostbusters 3 movie.
That would have sucked big time....leave our childhood classics alone please.

Worsed movie I`ve seen this year though Grown Ups......avoid like the plauge, its the usual Adam Sandler being same old charactor, was looking forward to seeing the other stars like Chris Rock but they were all wasted in this.....

One film sticks in my mind as being the worst film I have ever seen. I actually considered walking out of the cinema (i have never done this for another movie) about 4 times until I realised my mum was coming to pick me and my mate up when the film ended. If I was old enough to get back on my own I would have walked out.

I have seen some shitty films in my life but none have ever been quite as bad as this one-
