i deleted my history on my computer, so how did someone still find it?

I use Firefox, and i set it so that whenever i "x" out of the window, my personal data and history is automatically deleted. But somehow my friend still manages to find it and every site i have been on. how do i get rid of everything?

always clear all private data before you close the browser

It is very very hard to ever delete something completely off your computer. Simply pressing the delete button only means that it will take a little longer to find. The best way to delete things completely is to take your entire hard drive to a computer store and ask them to wipe the whole thing clean. But that's if you're like an undercover spi or something
