I dare you to read my work - something new I usually write more lyrical or rhythmic...

...poetry.? Bitter Sweet….

Bitter the taste left in my mouth – You stole what was mine!
Rage can taste the storm which builds upon my tongue,
But my lips are pressed – see only shades of purple fade to pale skin.
With jagged teeth that grind and fury that boils to flush my cheeks
You walked away without a word - and failed to look me in the eye,
Agonising with this twisted knot which sits deep within my pit of bile
How would I feel? You never gave your consideration, not even a thought! You just tore it out! A beating lump - a fibrous clot - a misshapen muscle - mistaken for my heart.
I surrendered to your game and saw all of the colours fade to grey.
Though disturbing as it may be - still I beckon you.
With these weeping eyes and bludgeoned core – still it is you - which I adore.
