I cant turn off boot camp on my mac!?

well i put boot camp on my mac (boot camp came with it) and when i took away the split in the memory i restarted the computer and instead of going straight to mac it came up with a black screen saying "insert boot dick and press any key to continue" or something like that... how do i make it so it goes straight to the mac operating system?? ive done the option key thing but how do i make it so it just goes staright to the mac without holding the option key??
 
Did you try going into bootcamp and removing the partition?

If you have then go to system preferences
then go to "Start up disk"
Then select the Mac OSX option and hit restart.

That should work.
