I can't save anything on the flash drive anymore.?

I have a flash drive that I have used for 3 years at work. Now, I work on a different computer and when I want to save a file in the flash drive, a window opens says: it is write proteced, first unprotect the disk. I don't know how to do that. Help is not available either. The disk is almost half full.
