okay it was about 8 yrs ago that i read it,
1. Its a scary book
2. Its nothing BIG, its somewhat a kid's book
3. all i remember about it is that its about a boy or girl that
goes to camp (and this particulary camp has a lake). anyway, the last thing i remember is that the boy/girl had a friend (a girl) whom s/he always hung out with and in the end it turns out the girl is actually dead. she drowned in the lake a few years back.
