i can't get the windsheild wipers to my 1989 cadillac fleetwood brougham to work?

need some advice.? i replaced switch and wiper motor. when you push the switch for the wipers you hear a clicking noise as if its trying to work. but nothing. the only things i havent replaced are the washer pump and arms. any advice would be good.

did you replace the relay?

the arms may be sized...clip them off the motor BUT BE CARFULL as the motor might still turn and try and park the blades
