I can't get the charger out of my palm treo?

I know this is going to sound silly, but I can't unplug my palm treo charger! I currently have the multi-connector hooked into the wall charger, but I can't get it unhooked from the phone itself. Is there some trick to getting it undone? Some button to push?
I just looked it up for the specifics... it's a Palm treo 650 and I can't unhook the sync cable
