J John D Guest May 31, 2008 #2 This is common on japanese bikes as they run very hot. The spark plug boot is semi-melted to the spark plug. Will need to pry off gently but may need a new plug wire and boot.

G guardrailjim Guest May 31, 2008 #3 It just pulls off. The rubber seal is probably stuck to the engine - try to pry it up.
