to boot into safe mode? I have a mac mini that gives me the "restart/kernel panic" screen every time I boot up. I cant get it to run the hardware test when I put int he disc and hold D or even to boot into safe mode, it just goes to the "restart screen" every time. I can get it to give me the choice of discs by holding ALT but that is it.
