i have a macbook, with the mini display port, and i got a mini display port to dvi adapter, because that was my connection option on my tv. I have a Sharp LC-40C32U, and have connected to the dvi, input 5 with a 3.5mm audio cable into the input 5 audio input. the audio is playing when I try to play a tv show from itunes, but the video won't play. i've gone to the system preferences for display and it recognizes that the Sharp LCD is there, but still all i see is black on my tv screen. yes, it's on input 5. anyone have any ideas on how to make it work? thanks!
