I can't find any good Fantasy Strategy games.?

I know my options are fewer, but I don't want to download or pay for the game. I need to find a game that I can save, and that I can conquer other kingdoms, buy soldiers, ect. No space games or real world type games please. Also, no mmorpgs, like Runescape for example please.
