I cant decide what mountain bike to get either going be the trek fuelx8 or the fisher...

I've ridden the Fuel EX (probably the 8, don't remember the model number but it's the same frame) and I really liked how it handled, felt light and nimble.

You're comparing it to a hardtail 29, which I think has it's own plus and minuses.

Personally, I would go with the Fuel, but I also would like to try a 29er. I think that you're just deciding if keeping what you know now (a 29 hardtail) or trying a FS.
 
...paragon. any imput? i curently have a single speed 29er and love it but really dred riding it when it comes to long and steep rides. I am planning on going to college in colorado so I was trying to decide if i should switch to a full suspension bike and from what i hear at the local shops in austin the trek has a really nice feel.
