Yeah, that was kind of fast. The animation quality looked so bad in just the shot where the panda is meditating that I couldn't believe someone would make it and put it on-line.

They all were done by the same brazilian crew: Video Brinquedo.

They also made Cars, Disney's princess line and Transformers look-a-likes, and others.

It sort of did. I recall seeing the english version of the trailer back a few months ago. A little bit before Kung Fu Panda hit theatres, IIRC. I know it was very, very, close to the date Kung Fu it the cinema.

They're meant to fool unsuspecting consumers. People see them in the DVD rack and buy them under the assumption that they're actually the big-budget movies that they resemble. Or at least, that's what these companies hope - very few people are really that stupid.
