I can't argue with this. Can you?

"A dog is not condidered a dog because he is a good

a good talker."

It's quite straight forward, if you look at it from my point of view.

A dog isn't a dog just because he's barks well. A man isn't a man because he talks well. There are multiple other reasons why a dog is a dog and a man is a man.

It's very true and logical, so I can't disagree with it.

You could say that a man's ability to talk is one indication of his ability to think and thinking and the way people think is one of the things that make people human. Communication by speech is a uniquely human activity although there are people who don't do it. If you were an alien from another planet and you were trying to identify which creature was the human you might say this one barks so he isn't a man. This bird talks but it isn't a good talker. It only repeats what you say to it. This creature is a good talker. It thinks up original things to say and can give and respond to information from other similar creatures. It's a good talker so it must be a man. If it's a really good talker it's probably a woman.
