I cannot see the text correctly i get weird letters, can someone help me please?

i am trying to install a game, and it is in russian, but when i press set up, i get weird fonts like ÓñòÃ*ıîâêÃ* on the setup program, is there anything i can do so i will be able to read the font? or is there something wrong? if so, can you please tell me and maybe tell me how to fix it too :) thankyou so much in advance!
oh and i cannot read the russian font in yahoo messenger, but i can read it in aim? related to my problem above? help on this to would be appreciated :) thankyou so much!
