I can hear it if i play a song on my Windows Media Player , but if i go to

I hate to suggest this, but... is the video player on YouTube muted? I've seen this happen before; actually, it's happened to me, too. Dunno why, either.

If it's not that, you may need to update the ActiveX drivers for YouTube. Dunno any more than that, though.

Try using the sound bar on youtube videos. I had the same problem, the realized I had accidentally turned the sound down on youtube itself.

If you are remoteing you tube vids won't work unless you say allow sound

Go to the right side of your start menu bar, where wireless links, time and a speaker are... Double click the speaker and make sure all levels are up or unmuted. Media Player runs on a different sound wave than digital youtube.

Its either because your volume is down or something is wrong with your speakers Hope I helped
