I Brought Some Horror Films Yesterday...Are They Good?

Hi everyone!!

I brought some Horror Films yesterday...i havent seen some of them yet. Could you give let me know what to expect from these films and if their good ir not?

Well i brought Final Destination1,2,3. Ive watched them and their really good. The ones i havent seen yet are The Hills Have Eyes 1 & 2 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Beginning and Remake.

Did i make good choices?

Hills Have Eyes 1 & 2 are both decent (I'm assuming you mean the modern remakes) with lots of gore and horror. The originals are good too (the first one much more so than the second). The Texas Chainsaw remakes are decent too, but not as good as the Hills Have Eyes ones. They're all decent enough for a horror fans collection.
 
I didn't think too much of The Hills Have Eyes 1...

Everybody died in the same scene!!

I found that little girl who thought she was Little Red Riding Hood quite funny :p Oh, and the one with the big head :eek:
 
Loved Hills Have Eyes 1 and texas Chainsaw Massacre Beginnings.

Haven't seen Hills Have Eyes 2 but the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre won't give you many frights. I was more scared watching a trailer of it on another DVD than I was of the actual whole film.
 
Final Destination 1 is great, 2 is good, 3 is awful.
The Hills Have Eyes - I assume you're talking about the remake, not the Wes Craven original - well, both the original and the remake are good. I haven't seen THHE 2.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning is excellent. I haven't seen the remake of the original TCSM, but if it's anything like The Beginning it'll be good. The original TCSM is a classic of course!
 
The hills have eyes 1 is wicked, its gorey and just horrific to watch. Defo worth seeing. Number 2 aint that good but more gore than first i reckon.
 
i wasnt really a fan of either the original or remake of Hills have eyes, although they both have their moments.

TCM remake is pretty good though and one of the better remakes out there (if i remember rightly the dvd has some quite good special features as well). Not seen the 'Beginning' movie but in my opinion there are too many prequels out at the mo.
 
The Hills Have Eyes 2 is poor in my opinion, they just made a cheap lazy sequel to a surprisingly good remake, and its laziness shows in just about every aspect of the film. The Story is poor, the characters are forgettable, the acting abysmal, the ending crap, and for some reason all the mutants look like The Thing from Fantastic 4...

The other films you mentioned are decent though, and if you like the TCM remake then i'm fairly sure you'll like the prequel.
