I was attempting to replace the front axles on my 93 Camry. I started with the driver's side, and separated the axle from the hub without difficulty. However, the inside of the axle wouldn't pull out of the transaxle case. There is a cover plate on the transaxle, where the axle is "plugged in".........which I mistakenly removed and proceeded to break, prying it off. This funnel shaped plate is where the plastic axle seals are. My question is what is this plate called, and how the heck would I find a new/used one. Thanks!!!!

Why didn't you use a book or take it to a shop? You may need a new transaxel. I worked on a Camary when I was in my automotive class and there is a special tool you use to yank it out. That's why it wouldn't come out.
