Well as the title says, Indeed I broke my foot.
At the time around midnight last night, I was at a train station with a friend and her boyfriend, she then proceeded to have an argument with him and storm off, as a loyal friend, I walked after her down the train station stairs (there's about 30 steps to a set and made out of stone). Her boyfriend asked me to get her, so I started to run.
No.. very very bad idea. I slipped on the stairs (that's so much more easy when it's been raining) 5 steps up from the bottom, I twisted my ankle and then smack the top of my foot on the step and fell to the ground.
I thought maybe it was just very swollen and bruised, I walked a tiny bit while limping to a sandwhich shop she headed to. Just when we were about to leave, I collasped on the floor and couldn't move my foot at all.
I was more ashamed of the other customers around me seeing a person just collaspe on the floor.
My friend's boyfriend then decided to carry me to the bus stop so we could get to the hospital.
After that, my friend and I proceeded to wait in A&E for the rest of the night and finally got out at 5am this morning, with a cast and crutches. I'm just lucky I don't leave in a house with stairs
The painkillers are starting to wear off now so I'm going to go get some more drugs. Definately a wonderful way to start 2007.
