I bought motion control shoes but arch still hurts?

I have flat-foot w/ over-pronation. I just use whatever shoes to go running in whatever shoes I find on sale and my arch would hurt. But this time, I made the investment in buying a pair of running shoes.

I went to a shoe store, had me run up n down w/o shoes on and recommended Motion Control shoes. After comparing a pair of Saucony and Brooks Addiction 8 shoes, I decided to go w/ the Brooks because they are most comfortable.

So I went running for a couple miles and after a while, my arch starts hurting again. I thought motion control shoes was suppose to prevent my foot from rolling and prevent my arch from hurting.

So what shoes do you recommend, or do I have to get those sole liners?

Thanks!
