Who is responsible for the cost? I came to the USA a week ago. A man guide me for a few days and suggested me to buy his car. The cost of my car was $2000. I regested and went to check a inspection. However I had to pay a $1000 to fix and pass the inspection of my car. I think the costs of fixation are too much. So I am asking

2) Additionally I had to rent a car for a few days because I had to wait for my car fixed and passed a inspection. Who is responsible for that cost of rent a car.
