I bought a Rockford fosgate P325.1 off ebay brand new. WITHOUT a case. What's the catch?

I paid 24.95 for just the inside of the amp. Claims its brand new just needs a custom casing for it. I confused I just dont see how this is possible. he saisd you could hook it up as soon as I got it in the mail. Everyone go check out this thing!
