No because BlackBerry uses a RIM server to surf the internet. This is its own server not available with others. You will have to have a data plan to surf the internet on your BB.
 
to surf on the web.? I have internet at home, with a router,when I get the signal from my house it says: You do not have a data plan, so it seems to block me from surf on the internet. I don't have the same problem with my Iphone, which is a T-Mobile phone. Am I possible to surf in the web with my BB 8900 (no Data Plan) using my router signal?
