You just bought your self one of the best cars on the road as far a reliability is concerned. They are great cars. You may run into some rust problems in the body panels, but that is no big deal.
I would have this car checked out thoroughly by my mechanic, looking for anything that is showing any appreciable wear and repair it now. You probably will not find much wrong other than belts or brake pads. I would also have my engine oil changed over to a top brand full synthetic in the same weight as recommended by Toyota. Change the trans mission fluid with the recommended fluid and the rear end fluid again with a full synthetic in the recommended weight. The mechanic may have to pump out the rear end fluid as some rears do not have drain plugs. This full synthetic oil is going to reduce the friction half again over the regular oils and save you a lot of money in repairs and fuel mileage. Drive this car like an old man or old woman and you will probably get 300,000 miles out of it if the body dosn`t rot off it first. Honestly, these are great cars. I wish I could find a good used one cheap.
