I believe one of my fish has ich, what treatment should I use?

Okay, this is stupid of me to even do this, but I just got 2 new fish for my aquarium but I didn't know m fish was infected until I saw a really big white spot and I identified it as ich. Should I put it in a 1 gallon tank and help it there, or should I treat the whole tank? Any other suggestions? I have aquarium salt to use.
I have 5 fish, 4 mollies and 1 catfish in my 12 gallon. I'm going to use the salt and hope it helps.
 
Since you know ich is already present treat the whole tank. The safest form of treatment is to raise the water temperature gradually to roughly 82 degrees farenheit. This speeds up the life cycle of ich. I have kept my tanks at a constant 82 degrees and have no problem with Ich since doing this. One medication that I have used for Ich when it is a hassle is NoxIck. I use this at half the recommended dosage. Be sure if you use this medication to wash your hands thoroughly after use as it contains a chemical suspected of being a carcinogen. I am not sure how well the hand washing helps, but it is better than nothing. You may want to wear some sort of rubber gloves as well. You will also want to do a water change every few days until the problem is gone.

Use the salt, do a %25 water change every 2 days, through out the 1 gallon tank as it is animal cruelty, and keep the water quality good, I assume it is cycled, not overstocked, and 10 gallons or over, if not there is your problem.
 
Raise the temperature slowly to 28 C it kills of ick it is effective and works ever time or is it 30 C you might want to look up that one.
