I believe in God but there really are mistakes or non-truths in the Bible. What do

you think of these lines? In Genesis right from the beginning it says:

1.In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.

In the first place, the earth is a natural world, not a supernatural world. How can it be older than the rest of the physical universe which spawned the galaxies, stars and other planets? Then it goes on to say that Heaven is up in the sky.

2.Then God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.

Yet God still hasn't created the sun yet. That happens later.

3. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

It should say that God created the sun and the 'other' stars also. There are two more technical problems with this statement as well.

You see, this clearly demonstrates that the Bible was written by primitive men with limited knowledge of the cosmos. They were also superstitious, not realising that the natural world is indeed, natural. God did not use magic to create the universe but physics instead.
This is what I believe anyway. Maybe there is no God. Personally, I prefer the God concept myself. It makes more sense to me.
