I am trying to get some idea of the value of a 1963 Yamaha Acoustic Guitar

Model # FG335B, Emerald Green.? I do know that this guitar model has not been made for over 30 years, but am having trouble finding any more information. I would like to know value and place of origin. I have already checked with e-bay. No info. there. I would be happy if someone could provide me with a site that actually provides info for free. Any help would be appreciated. This is my second time trying Yahoo Answers for any information, but hoping I have finally posted in a category where someone can help. Thank you!
 
a picture would help a lot. It sounds like a copy of the gibson ES 335 but without a photo I can't be sure. Take the guitar to your local music store to get a good idea of its current value. Most yamaha guitars do not appreciate in value but if it is in good shape it may have retained its original value. You could also try the yamaha web site.
